Scouts attending week 4 of scout camp at Woodland Trails were treated with the arrival of the "A Century Of Values" touring RV. This RV is visiting scouting districts all over the US promoting 100 years of scouting in the US. After it's run it will be placed in the Smithsonian Institute along with a log book signed by boy scouts it's ecountered along the way. National Boy Scouts of America Unveils New Web - Site |

The National Boy Scouts of America unveiled its new web-site a little over a week ago with huge success. The site offers better navigation, quicker response time, and easier access to MyScouting. They are still working out all the bugs, but it promises to be a great asset. The apparent bug with Internet Explorer 7 and MyScouting, in the former website appears to be fixed. |

On Friday, May 22nd, 2009 National Boy Scouts of America announced their 2 millionth Eagle Scout. Anthony T. from Minnesota now carries not only the distinction of being an Eagle Scout, but also carries the honor of being the two millionth scout to achieve the rank. All of the folks from DarkeDistict.com send their heartfelt congratulations to Anthony and his family! |
